Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson was pleased with his side's first back to back wins which was completed with a 2-0 win over Coventry City this afternoon.
Speaking to the Press Association, Pearson said: "Not to have back-to-back wins in a calendar year is the obvious reason why we are in the position we are. Now we have given ourselves a chance.
"Although we are eight points off the play-offs, the players are very confident, so there is still a chance. There's a long way to go yet, but the margin of error is getting tighter.
"If we show the same application we have in the last month or two, there is still a chance we can achieve something this season.
"I thought we dominated the game for long periods. Even when they went down to 10 men they showed great composure. It was a good win today."
