Coventry City’s Gary McSheffrey has said that the penalty miss against Millwall will probably haunt him.
Speaking to the CT’s Andy Turner, McSheffrey said; “We’re all devastated and me more than most because I’m a local lad.
“If anyone doubts that then they don’t know me as a person.
“I’ve got to deal with the fact that I have missed a penalty that could have given us a really good chance of staying up, so I have got to carry that on my shoulders and being a Cov lad, I’ll probably never be able to forget that.”
