Former Coventry City loanee Matt Pennington made his competitive debut for Everton's first team tonight.
Pennington played the first half of the Toffees League Cup tie at Barnsley, which Everton won 5-3 after extra time.
Coventry born Danny Crowley, who is on loan at Barnsley from Arsenal, scored one of the Tykes goals.
