Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that the City players won't be wrapped in cotton wool and have to get on with it as they face competition for places.
Speaking to the CT, the City boss said: "We picked up a few bumps and bruises against Doncaster on Tuesday night - Gary McSheffrey, Danny Ward and Martin Cranie all took knocks but guys have to get on with it - play hurts.
"They know there is competition for places now so people don't get wrapped in cotton wool.
"They have to be strong, warm down properly and get ready for the next one."
