With apologies for the late announcement the Coventry City Former Players Association can now confirm that former Sky Blue shot stopper Perry Suckling will be the Association’s special guest at tomorrow afternoon’s League One home game against Bristol Rovers at the Ricoh arena.
Perry will be hoping for a repeat performance to last Tuesday night’s encouraging win over Port Vale. The Sky Blues need to build momentum before their EFL Trophy final at Wembley on April 2nd. Look out for Perry around the supporters’ lounges at the Ricoh before the game and in a fans Q&A on the stage of Lady Gs with Billy after the game.
Goalkeeper Perry was one of the Sky Blues’ youngest debutants when he appeared before his 17th birthday for City at home against Southampton in Division 1 in August 1982 (and kept a clean sheet)! Perry made 29 first team appearances before moving to Manchester City in 1986.
Perry will also be assisting the BBC CWR live matchday commentary team with analysis as the game unfolds if you are not able to make the game. Thanks Perry for helping us out at short notice.
