It resulted in 25 players being asked to train with the Academy teams and FIVE players making the grade at different age groups.
On the back of that success, we're again asking budding youngsters to try out for City's Academy from under-8s up to under-14s over June and July.
Within the past decade several home-grown young players have progressed through the ranks at City, with the likes of Chris Kirkland, Gary McSheffrey and Callum Davenport all now plying their trade in the Premiership.
