Pompey Still Favourites Despite Black Wednesday

Portsmouth FC remain favourites to beat Coventry City in Saturday's FA Cup tie at Fratton Park despite a terrible day for the South Coast based club yesterday.

Yesterday, Portsmouth admitted that they were shocked by a winding up petition issued by HM Revenue And Customs on December 23rd.

That could send Pompey into administration although the board issued a statement saying: it disputed the amount of money owed and expected HM Revenue & Customs "to withdraw their demands forthwith".

Then with fans demanding to know "where the money had gone", Portsmouth were beaten 4-1 at home last night by Arsenal in a Premier League fixture.

Despite, all this unrest, the bookies still have Pompey as favourites for the game and you can check out the odds for all the leading bookies by clicking on http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/fa-cup/portsmouth-v-coventry/win-market.
