Bristol Rovers manager Darrel Clarke felt that there were positives and negatives from his side's 2-1 defeat to Coventry City.
Clarke told his side's website: “There are positives and negatives. I thought we applied ourselves right, and the work rate and attitude of the players was fantastic.
“I thought we did well against a team who knocked the ball down and whose movement was very good – we are probably not going to come up against something like that in the Conference.
“I am disappointed to lose a game on a set piece, it takes the gloss off of it a little bit.
“Games are won and lost on set pieces, so it is an area of the game we need to tighten up on.
“It was a good work out for my players, they had a lot of possession and I thought we looked a goal threat at times.”
