Premier League Ref For City's Game At Forest
The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's Championship game at Nottingham Forest tomorrow night is Andre Marriner from Solihull.
A one time resident of Walsgrave and former goalkeeper who turned to refereeing after picking up a number of injuries, this will be his 12th game of the season and his first Championship match. He has shown 38 yellow cards and one red.
His games this season include the Community Shield which saw Manchester United beat Chelsea 3-1, Arsenal's 4-0 League Cup win at Newcastle and nine Premier League matches of which his last was Blackpool's 2-2 draw with Everton on Saturday.
His last City game was the 3-2 win at Watford on Tuesday September 29th 2009 amd his only other previous game was the 3-1 win at Stoke City in November 2007.
The Assistants are Stephen Child from Kent and Andy Haliday from Yorkshire The Fourth Official is Paul Tierney from Lancashire.
