Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has accepted that City's results have not been good enough.
The Sky Blues have won only eight games in 2014 and Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole: " If you are asking if results have been good enough absolutely not. I accept that - I've known for sometime that results need to improve.
"There's no doubt that this is a particlarly challenging job but I am not using that as an excuse because we have to do better. But I believe that with hard work, perserverance, doing things the right way, results will follow.
"The figure of only eight wins isn't just a slur on me - I'm the figurehead and we're all responsible and we must change.
"It's a major challenge but one that i absolutely love - and if we come out the other end, which might take a period of time, it is an achievement I will be immensely proud of because I did not sign a four year contract not to see the job through."
