Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he has no complaints about the effort put in by Dylan McGeouch.

The loanee from Celtic has been confined to the substitute bench since making his debut in the 3-0 defeat at Notts County and the City boss said about him to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner:  “Dylan has been a bit unfortunate because of circumstances and it’s been frustrating for us as well as him that he hasn’t had more game-time.

“He was a little bit further away than we anticipated when he arrived and I think Dylan would agree it’s taken him longer than expected to reach his levels and adapt to our methods.

“He plays in one of the most demanding positions in the team so has to be at a very high level. Mark Marshall found it difficult as well but Dylan is looking more like himself and getting closer all the time.

“He played for the Under-21s against Birmingham on Monday and although I missed the game because I was in a meeting, I’m told he did very well.

“Hopefully he’ll get his chance before the end of the season because I’ve certainly got no complaints about his effort.”
