Coventry City manager Steven Pressley felt that new loanee midfielder David Prutton was brilliant for the Sky Blues in their 2-1 win at Crewe Alexandra on Saturday.
Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole: "I thought David was just brilliant.
"It was a really experienced performance with a lot of grit and determination, demonstrating what we have been missing in the latter part of the season.
"We knew that we had to nullify their turnovers because Charles Aneke is their biggest threat when he drops into those positions. He can really expose you at times but David made sure that he couldn't do that, couldn't launch their counter attacks and because we didn't allow them the space to play they had to resort to a lot of long balls and we were confident we could deal with that."
