Coventry City manager Steven Pressley felt that Bristol City were more physicial than the Sky Blues during his side's 3-1 defeat at the Ricoh Arena.

"I think the physical aspects were the difference in the teams today. They possessed greater physicality than us, and the outcome of the game was defined by that," Pressley told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire's Geoff Foster.

"There were some positive signs in the second half, but there are too many players who need to step up to the mark.

"What was encouraging for me was that I've been here for 20 months and I want self-policing at this club, and if we're losing games they're pointing fingers at each other, and we got that today. That's what winners do: winners demand more of each other. Winning teams are driven by the players.

"It's difficult times for us just now, I am aware of that. There's frustration and there's a lack of confidence but I'm truly determined to turn that round and I believe I will turn this round. We need to never accept defeat, to show resilience and a strong mentality."
