Coventry City manager Steven Pressley felt that his team's performance merited a win instead of the 0-0 draw against Walsall.
Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole: “That was a really tough League One game against an in-form Walsall side.
“They have the best defensive record in the division and you can see why – they’re very solid and difficult to break down and in the second half they threw their bodies on the line.
“After the first 20 minutes I thought we had control of the game for long periods; of course you’re always vulnerable to the counter but I thought that we certainly had the vast majority of possession and pressure.
“In the early part of the game we didn’t quite get our distances right between midfield and the strikers but once we started to do that we had some great crosses into the box.
“That’s our third clean sheet in four starts which is something to build on and I was pleased with that and I thought that young Matty Pennington was excellent, coming into the side after only training for one day.
“Overall not a top performance but a reasonable performance which, in the end, I thought merited the three points.”
