Coventry City manager Steven Pressley expressed his delight as his side beat Walsall 2-1 in a re-arranged League On fixture at Sixfields.
“I’m delighted that we got the win because although it’s been a tough period for us, the fact is that the points we’ve accumulated means we should be just outside the play-off places," Pressley said to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole.
"We should be enjoying the situation, hunting down the teams above us, but instead we’re under a pressure our performances don’t deserve.
“It’s been an uncomfortable situation, something they don’t deserve, but they’ve reacted really well.
“I said in our analysis meeting that the draw against Shrewsbury was our most significant point of the season because it gave us a little bit of stability and self-belief to take into this match.
"They’ve had to deal with a hell of a lot this season but they’re a brilliant group – you have to work so hard to win games of football in this league and our intensity was back its best tonight.”
