Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he is disappointed by the sudden departure of Rory Donnelly back to Swansea City.
The Northern Irishman joined City on Friday on loan for the rest of the season but today has returned to Swansea citing personal reasons. However, the former Cliftonville player cannot play for Swansea again this season as he is registered to the Sky Blues.
“Both clubs are working on a solution to the situation but he’ll certainly not be available for tomorrow night," Steven Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner.
“It’s a disappointment because we obviously worked hard to get in a couple of strikers ahead of the window closing but that’s football and that’s what we’re faced with.”
