Coventry City manager Steven Pressely said he was impressed with the solid performance from Trialist Centre Half Craig Reid.
The Scot put in some excellent tackles and looked composed at the back with Jordan Wills in the 2-0 defeat to Fleetwood Town on Wednesday night.
“I thought Craig was outstanding, I really did,” Pressley said to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner.
“He’s got a great attitude towards the game, he’s fit and quick and very mobile and I thought he was excellent and has done himself a power of good.
“He’s obviously without a club at the moment but we have been very impressed with him and if there were any potential suitors in the stand I am sure they will have been as well.
“I think he’s a player we would have to consider after that performance. I would have to see a lot more of him but I was very much aware of him up the road in Scotland and he has come in here and shown he can handle the English game, so I was really impressed and someone I will definitely have to think about moving forward.”
