Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he is interested in signing the French striker who played the first half of the 1-0 defeat at Willem II last night.
The striker, impressed the City support with his bulkiness and ability to hold the ball up, as well as manager Steven Pressley who told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner:
“The striker was excellent, "I think it’s very clear that he’s still a little behind the others in terms of fitness but what excites me is that once we get him up to full speed he’s going to be a real handful.
“He will probably feature between 45 minutes and half an hour again on Saturday. We have to be careful to build him up step by step and keep working on his fitness. The important thing is that we get him ready for August 3.
“The wide player will probably only feature for 45 minutes because he’s got a plane to catch at Amsterdam,” said Pressley on the Spanish winger who was clearly tired by the end of the game.
“We were meant to take a Dutch winger on trial as well. We had a letter of confirmation from his club and then it changed at the last minute so he’s not going to be joining us.”
