Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has admitted that he voted for Liverpool manager Brendan Rogers in the League Managers Association Manager of The Year award.
“Brendan was one of my three that I voted for because I think he’s done a wonderful job,” Pressley said to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner.
“It’s not just the success in terms of Liverpool’s league campaign, but it was the type of football that they played and that, in itself, excited a lot of people because ultimately fans want to be entertained and see an exciting brand of football.
“And if you can combine exciting football with results then you deserve enormous credit for that, so he was a very worthy winner.”
