Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has issued a challanged the Academy graduate Billy Daniels to make his mark on City's midfield.
Daniels has not figured much so far this season, managing only four appearances in all competitions and has recently seen his place taken by Jack Finch.
Pressley said of the 20 year old, Bristol born player: “He’s a player I rate. He’s had a couple of opportunities this season against Cardiff and Wycombe but he’s at a stage now where he really needs to grab the game by the scruff of the neck and show people what a good player Billy Daniels is, and I keep telling him that, but I need him to impose himself more on games and really start influencing games.
“He had a terrific performance in the midfield are against Barnsley in the Cup last year where he grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck against Championship opposition, and that’s what I want to see from him because I think there’s a really good player there. But he has to start showing it now.
“I know he’s still only 20 but he’s been involved in the first team since I have come into the club and I really want him to start showing me he's deserving of a place.”
