Pressley Looking To Improve On Set Piece Defending

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley is continuing to look at his team's problems of conceding goals from set pieces and but is in good company with Liverpool manager Brendan Rogers who was widely criticised this week by some of his supporters for their conceding of goals.

Speaking to Alan Poole and James Rodger of the Coventry Telegraph, Pressley said:“I’ve looked at statistics and in terms of goals conceded from open play we’re one of the lowest in the league.

“That’s very satisfying because it means we’re working well to the shape but out Achilles heel has been on set-plays.

“I listened to Brendan Rodgers talking about Liverpool’s Achilles heel just now. And you can do all the work, all the detail, but ultimately it comes down to getting your head on the ball and that’s an area we must improve on.”
