Coventry City manager Steven Pressley is looking for defensive cover after Jordan Willis picked up knee cartilage damage.
With Cyrus Christie just back in training, the City boss is short of numbers in defence and might have to look at who is available on a short term loan to cover.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Steven Pressley said: "It’s a massive blow because Jordan has been doing so well of late.
“From the MRI scan it looks that he has damaged the cartilage and he will be going to see a specialist for a consultation which is likely to result in surgery. And for that type of procedure and injury it usually keeps players out for four to six weeks.
“If that’s the case then it means we have no cover in the centre-back position so we may have to look at to loan market and getting someone in as cover for the next couple of months.”
