Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he is pleased that Ricoh Arena landlords Wasps have had the pitch relaid.
Speaking to Andy Turner of the Coventry Telegraph, Pressley said: “Fair play to Wasps for re-laying it and I certainly think the players will be excited about playing on a surface that is conducive to the type of football we want to play.
“I’ll be going down to see it before Saturday and I hope it will be a boost for the players and that they can take their training work on to the pitch because it has been difficult to play the style of football we want in our home games.”
