Coventry City manager Steven Pressley was pleased with both of his goalscorers in the 2-0 win over AS Romas in Levico Terme.
Shaun Miller scored the first goal after five minutes and Danny Pugh added a second in the 74th minute with a twenty odd yard free kick.
"
“It was good to see Shaun get one and he had another couple of opportunities which, had the conditions been better, may well have fallen his way. But I thought he and Marcus Tudgay formed a good partnership up there, " Pressley said to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner.
“I said to Danny Pugh after the game that I hope that’s the first of many goals. Obviously when we did our homework on Danny, delivery was one of the things that we were aware he had in his locker and I thought his goal was brilliant. But he also had an unbelievable cross in the second half which George Thomas nearly scored from, so I think he’ll give us that offensive threat.
“He’s an outstanding player and top professional and he performed really well.”
