Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has praised Ryan Haynes and Callum WIlson for their performances in the 1-1 draw against Brentford on Saturday.
Pressley, who was critical of the Ricoh Arena pitch in some of his aftermatch comments, told the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole: "Callum looked very lively. "He has missed a lot of the last 18 months with injury but he’s an exciting prospect, a player who has impressed me.
"He’s a Coventry boy who’s come through the system and wants to do well at this club. We’re still talking about potential at the moment, and he’s got a lot of hard work ahead, but if we can add to his qualities there’s a real player there.
"Ryan had a terrific debut and I was really proud of his performance today. He looked nervous for the first ten minutes or so, as you’d expect, but after that he grew into the game and that’s hugely encouraging.
"It was a big challenge against a very good Brentford side and I thought he handled it brilliantly."
