Pressley To Help Out Kidderminster

Former Coventry City player and manager Steven Pressley is helping out Kidderminster Harriers for a month.

Pressley has been brought in by Kidderminster's Football Development Director Colin Gordon to help try and lift the team off the bottom of the National League Premier Division table.

Kidderminster Chairman Rod Brown said in a press statement: “Colin has been able to call on Steven for a favour and we’re all excited about being able to work with him for a month.

“Given the financial situation at the club, we clearly don’t have the clout to go out and sign four or five players to bolster the squad, but we do recognise that there are some other ways that we can help.

“Gary and his staff have been working tirelessly since the summer, and although we would obviously have liked a few more points at this stage, this isn’t about putting in place massive change at the club.

“Steven’s time at the training ground for the next few weeks will not cost the club a penny, but we hope the advantages we can take from it will be a lot more lucrative as he and the staff put their minds together to try and help Kidderminster Harriers.

“It was important to do something after such a tough start to the season for the management and the team, and any difference this can make will be a big boost.”
