Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he is prepared to take his time to replace Lee Carsley, who has left for Sheffield United.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph, Pressley said; "Potentially we will need an additional coach but we'll take our time about that.
"We'll need to make sure we get the right person in place and obviously there are some more pressing issues to be sorted before that.
"I'm sorry to see Lee go because he is a great lad who really helped me settle in when I arrived from Falkirk.
"I played with David Weir for a short period at Hearts and then in the national team and when news came through of his appointment, I suspected he might take Lee because they were so close. And it's a natural progression for Lee because he has aspirations of becoming a manager."
