Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he wants higher standards from City's Academy.
"The club, at this moment in time, has so much work to do in rebuilding – and I am not talking about the other issues, I’m talking about what I’ve inherited in the football department," Pressley said to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner.
“I am talking about our Academy, so we need to demand higher standards from our Academy, a better synergy between the Academy and the first team in terms of working relationships moving forward because a club like Coventry has to be dependent to a certain degree on its Academy.
“We’ve had successes in the Academy but we have to have more of that.”
