Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has warned striker Callum Willson not to rest on his laurels after his two goals against Bristol City and his goal at Crawley Town.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole, the City boss who will be at Wembley tonight for the England v Scotland game, said: “It’s vital you have competition in every position and when we get that up front it can only be good for Callum and Leon.
“Scoring goals is obviously a striker’s main job but our style means that we need them to be pressing the opposition, disrupting their game at every opportunity.
“Callum and Leon have really bought into that culture and I’m particularly delighted for Callum because he’s had a lot of injury setbacks in his career and he’s waited a long time to get a run in the first team.
“I’ve told him how pleased I am with his efforts but I’ve also told him that he can’t afford to sit back and think he’s made it.
"Every time he raises the bar he sets himself a new target. That’s how young players improve and he’s certainly shown that he will accept that challenge."
