Coventry City manager Steven Pressley felt that City deserved to win against Sheffield United.
Speaking after the 1-0 win, Pressley told Geoff Foster of BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "I am very proud of them We deserved to win. Our high press was brilliance. Marcus Tudgay was brilliant. He was sick at half-time.
"We did not win enough of these games last season and this is a step in the right direction.
"I thought Willis and Clarke were outstanding. We were professional, restricted them and always looked a threat on the counter attack.
"I think It was Jim O'Brien's goal and it shows why I brought him to the club. A great cross by Ryan Haynes and I thought he really stepped up today.
"Shaun Miller will be a really good find for us.
"If we have to prove that we are capable of making the play-offs, then we have to win games like the one against Barnsley on Tuesday."
