Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he would like to do some of his January shopping as early as possible.
Pressley has identified nine targets and is looking to get rid of seven players and told Tom Bloomfield at this morning's press conference: "I would love to do some of our business very early. We need stability at this stage and that would allow us to do that.
"I have a transfer budget for January. There are areas in the budget where we can open up the wage bill to attract players to the club."
The City boss would also like to reduce the number of loanees at the club as a team can only field five in any matchday squad and he said: "We have seven loan players at the moment which is not ideal. Decisions will be made about them and I have spoke to some players who I hope to move on in January."
