Covsupport had raised this with the club on the day the fixtures were announced, saying that a 1pm kick off rather than the traditional 3pm would allow everyone involved, be it supporters,players,match officials or club staff to get home or to parties and gatherings in plenty of time to welcome in 2006.
Thankfully, Preston felt the same and the match will now kick off at 1pm.
