Last year, at MK Dons, there was a massive Sky Blues turnout but it was marred by some crowd trouble inside and outside a bar, which I witnessed at first hand.
Whatever the cause, it was a great pity and Coventry City fans are now seen as a troublesome bunch at stadiummk, although the worst fans last season were Brentford at a ground which was voted the best ground for visiting supporters last season.
It is likely that the bars will be closed on 23rd August.
Us at MK sympathise greatly with the situation at Sixfields and like many I have not been, not even when MK Dons played.
At Dons, we are grateful for the encouragement we get from clubs across the country after a shaky start.
It is worth remembering, that at StadiumMK, there is no real possibility of fans mixing so any trouble affects staff and stewards, most of whom do it as a job and support other teams such as Chelsea, Coventry, West Ham or Arsenal etc.
Despite everything, I hope to see a good turn out of City supporters in Milton Keynes.
