Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that Nick Proschwitz will get his chance in the City team.
The German has been left of the match day squad recently due to City naming five players on loan but with injuries to Marcus Tudgay and Dominic Samuel, Proschwitz, who has failed to impress in his few outings for City will get another chance.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Pressley said: “There was a negative to having six or seven loans because there’s always someone disappointed when you put a team sheet up because we can only name five.
“But he can come back in and fight for his place now; show the hunger which I have to say he has been showing in training in the last couple of weeks.
"I’ve been happy with him so we’ll have to see how he comes back and whether he can affect the team. He’ll definitely be in and around the squad.
“It has been a test of his character in recent weeks and in my mind he’s come through that with flying colours.
“I think he found it difficult initially because he went to Hull for a few quid, they got to the Premier League and then he got loaned out to Brentford and now come to us, so there’s probably that feeling of coming down the divisions and that will be difficult for him, of course.
“He’s also found it difficult not being in the team because he would have thought he could come to League One and definitely be in the team but Dominic was doing so well and Marcus is a bright and intelligent player and we were playing in a different way which resulted in Nick being on the sidelines.
“But now there’s an opportunity for him. He’s applied himself well in training; he’s not sulked and moped and I hope that he can show everyone his talents when he gets on the pitch.”
