David Prutton is hoping that Coventry City will make him an offer.
The 32 year old midfielder who has been on loan with the Sky Blues, was released by Sheffield Wednesday on Monday and is hoping that Steven Pressley will offer him a deal.
Prutton is quoted by the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner and the Sheffiield Star as saying: The manager (Steve Pressley) and his staff have been very complimentary about me and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at Coventry.
“The first part of the loan deal was having the chance to have a look at each other and making sure the club were safe, on the understanding that further conversations would happen after that.
“From a personal view point my loan worked out perfectly and if there is something more permanent then I’d definitely be interested.
“There’s always a kind of lull when the season finishes. I’m not saying anything is set in stone but it’s certainly something I would like to explore to see if there are any legs in it.
“But the manager has been very complimentary and it’s something I think he’d be interested in, although from initial conversations sometimes getting from A to B doesn’t always go as smoothly as people would assume. But there are positive outlooks from both sides.”
