PSB Group - Now Where Do We Start

Last updated : 27 April 2015 By PSB Group

Now where do we start ? It's been yet another depressing week being a Coventry City fan. Some fans still to this day defend Sisu . We at PSBG really fail to understand why?

What will make these fans realise that Sisu do not care about you or me or indeed Coventry City Football Club ?

Maybe another move to Sixfields? Another transfer embargo ? Another administration?

Or another relegation? You might only have to wait till Sunday for the latter.

10 POINT PLAN http://www.coventrycity-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/psbg_ten_point_plan_put_forward_to_sisu_860292/index.shtml

We published our PSB 10 Point plan in the week which has had over 3,300 views and have received a huge amount of positive support which is refreshing to know that the majority of us fans are on the same page. We did however receive 1 particularly negative message from a fan that criticised most of our points whilst pointing out how cash positive the club is now. The same guy also said that the council actually STOP CCFC from giving away complimentary tickets to young fans through local schools . We believe this to be complete and utter rubbish. However if there is anything in this we'd like to know. He claims to have regular meetings with Tim Fisher ,Steve Waggot and Peter Ward so perhaps it now starts to make sense why he talks and genuinely believes such nonsense!

SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY FAN

On our travels we often meet fellow football supporters from around the country and indeed the rest of the world. That was the case again on Tuesday when a few of us  were in a bar in Aylesbury after a business meeting. We were chatting to a Sheffield Wednesday fan also working away. Typically he sympathised a lot for the current situation that us CCFC fans find ourselves in. He also shared the same views on our owner as us so it's heart warming  to know that fans from other clubs do actually realise what's going on here. Incidentally his favourite current player is Kieren Westwood which came as no surprise. The big surprise for him was he couldn't believe that they signed him on a free transfer from Sunderland or that he had actually left us on a free. What we would do for a Kieren Westwood right now hey. This gentleman then shared his memories of Coventry City away. Highfield Road was one of his favourite away days, he commented on how great the atmosphere was and how he loved where the ground was situated in the middle of a housing estate making it feel more intimidating walking up to the ground etc. Now with the Ricoh being the complete opposite he said he hates it and was sad to see Highfield Road was no longer. He is not alone on that score.

The things we would do to wake up from this bad dream right now to be back at Highfield Road. We at PSBG miss that old ground more than any place in the world.

CREWE GAME

Normally we would write a match review but considering how depressing it was we think it best to instead try and forget as we feel sure nobody actually wants to relive it again.

All we will say is this. We got the sense from the players and even some fans that we were already actually safe. That was not a performance from a team that was fighting for there lives. That looked like an arrogant 'we are safe anyway' sort of performance!

It's heartbreaking to be heading to Crawley ,a team also fighting for their lives, on the last day of the season needing something to stay up. It's hard to understand why Odelusi is not starting. He looks the only player that can cause other teams problems and what is going on with Turgott ? He scored the winner from the bench away at Peterborough and has literally not been seen since with just one substitute appearance since then. He is not even making the bench sometimes. Seems Very odd !

YOUNG GENERATION

We have so much sympathy for the younger generation of city fans especially the ones that missed out on 87 and the Premier league days because unfortunately that looks so far away now. We doubt some of us will  see anything close to them days again in our lifetime. Things have to change if we are ever going to move in the right direction again.

NEXT SEASON

We as fans need to decide what we intend to do  next season. Do we continue to pump the club with money in return for poor football ?

Do we pursue a season ticket boycott? Do we look to hit Sisu in the pocket ? or do we do something completely different ?

We'd welcome your views but we will wait to see what happens this preseason before parting with any cash. If we see no ambition from our owners and Tony Mowbray leaves then frankly we are done.

We as fans need to get that
message across to Sisu fast!

Like Tony Mowbray has said If the club don't match his ambition then he is gone! That's what we believe us fans should also be saying. Simply put "Sisu match our  ambitions otherwise we are also gone. This cannot carry on !
