PSB Group Call For Fisher To Resign

Last updated : 14 April 2017 By PSB Group

So Mr Fisher what a roll of honour.

What a massive contribution to Coventry City you have made.

Joy Seppalla must be so proud!

Let's just list a few of your key achievements.

Years of broken promises, transfer embargoes, point deductions, administration, a key part in losing the Ricoh as well as countless court cases, a ground

share in Northampton and two relegations.

A record that would have seen any self-respecting executive resign.

A record where any business who actually cared about its customers would have long since shown you the door.

Enough is enough. It's now long overdue that you clear your desk and move on Mr Fisher.

You were on record this season saying 'judge us in January'

Well it's April now and we are rock bottom of league one and confirmed as relegated to league two with games still to play.

We couldn't possibly record our real judgement of you, however we'll keep it simple and polite.

You have presided over continued failure and proved to be an unsuitable Chairman. We therefore politely request, just as we did before January, to RESIGN with immediate effect.

We were in a bad position when you took over but my god you have achieved something barely believable in taken the club to an even more embarrassing level of hopelessness.

League two for God's sake.... that's Division 4. The lowest of low!

We have seen many managers under your stewardship take the blame and pay the price by being sacked or as in the case with Tony Mowbray, resign.

At least he had the decency to hold his hands up and walk with plenty of time left for the new manager to turn it around.

You then appointed Russell Slade, a man that won only one league game during his reign as manager.

We had 36 games to try and save our season once Tony had left.

There was only one objective. To stay up, and we failed to do so. Slade failed but as the man who appointed him you failed equally.

Let's face it though Tim your record is just pure failure so why should we be surprised.

Do the decent thing and resign, there is not one City fan that wants you anywhere near the position of chairman at this once proud great club.

The time is right to leave. You say you are doing this job for free? If that's true, you are earning exactly what you are worth.

It would be criminal to expect even the minimum wage for the job you have done.

We would rather a man that has the capabilities to run a football club be installed to the position of CCFC chairman and earn a wage they actually deserved.

You have contributed massively to another relegation.

We as fans do not trust you, We don't want to support you, we have lost faith in you as our chairman.

Now is the time to swallow your pride and hold your hands up, take responsibility and resign so CCFC can try and rise from the ashes again.
