Not for a very long time have we at PSB felt quite so upbeat and excited as we do now.
We firmly believe that at last our football club is moving in the right direction and for that we would like to place on record our sincere thanks and gratitude to Tony Mowbray. Tony and his staff have in a very short space of time transformed the footballing landscape at the Ricoh. The style of football, the matchday experience and level of excitement are now something to cherish. Going to watch the Sky Blues is now a pleasure not an endurance test. Simply put this is the best it's been for an absolute age.
Mowbray has not put a foot wrong with his signings and the latest loan acquisition of Joe Cole has once again shown his standing in the game.
We firmly believe that given time and support that he could return our club to the place it belongs.
He therefore needs us as fans to do our bit and that means all of us.
Now is the time to put behind us the recriminations of the past, to move on from the Sixfields fiasco and get down to the Ricoh and back Tony Mowbray and his exhilarating young team. That includes those who have been supporting NOPM (Not One Penny More).
Don't get us wrong. We fully respect the reasons behind the campaign but the ultimate aim of this movement as we see it has always been to force SISU out. It hasn't worked and isn't going to.
With the team doing incredibly things on the pitch and playing the most attractive football we have seen in decades the crowds at the Ricoh will only rise and rightly so.
We have a genuine chance of promotion this season. Who would want to miss out on that.
In recent years all anybody has talked about when discussing Coventry city has been about off the field issues. This year it's all about the football, its refreshing and feels fantastic to be a City fan again.
The Ricoh used to be a very depressing place to go, poor football on show and a distinct lack of atmosphere interspersed with boos echoing around the stadium
at the final whistle.
at the final whistle.
This year there is massive belief from both players and fans that we are going to win every game and an atmosphere to mirror that.
Since the fans have been located in one stand together the atmosphere and buzz created along with the attacking style football has been breathtaking.
Just imagine how great it could be if we all got up there and supported the boys?
We are going to be in the promotion mix this season. There is no doubt about it.
We therefore urge all city fans to put to one side all negative thoughts towards SISU for now and witness
something special.
something special.
Our owners will go when the time is right. Who knows, maybe they'll cash in their chips once we're in the Championship.
Nobody can second guess what the motivation is of these people so why let your hatred for them spoil the pleasure our boys are bringing us under Tony Mowbray.
Our thoughts haven't changed towards SISU. The fact is they are still here and show no signs of going anywhere.Meanwhile Coventry City are on the verge of something special on the field.
Are some of us really going to miss out on that because of our feelings towards the owners ?
There's a song that's sung at the Ricoh along the lines of
'Love City Hate Sisu' which as far as we are concerned is spot on. We therefore urge everyone to get themselves up to the Ricoh both today and then against Peterborough and witness for yourself the new fun times with the mighty Sky Blues.

This is our time. A time to enjoy and be proud to be a Cov City fan.
