Coventry City U18’s boss Greg Ricoh feels that psychology is crucial in the development of players.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Academy boss Greg Ricoh said: "We base our work around the FA four corner model which is based around the physical, the tactical, the technical and the psychological sides of football.
"We put a big emphasis on that psychological corner as modern day football requires that. It often gets overlooked but it is crucial in developing talent. We work really hard on that aspect every day so we know when one of our players aren't feeling right, if even it's the smallest thing.
"I am really confident in my players with that aspect and really proud of how the season has gone so far. We are top of the table and they have responded brilliantly to every challenge all season.
"We are still unbeaten away from home which is an incredible achievement.
"The main focus is still producing players for the first team and getting players over that line but anything on the football pitch is always great."
