Former Coventry City players Mick Quinn and Darren Huckerby have joined the view of City supporters and others who say that Sisu and Otium Entertainment Group are the problem behind the Sky Blues not whoever the manager is.
Former City player Steve Froggatt had already said that the Board and Sisu need to sacked, following the sacking of Russell Slade who was dismissed on Sunday after less than three months in charge and the worst record of a City permanent manager in the club's history.
Slade's comment on Friday about not having the tools for the job and the club needing to be rebuilt which although spot on, probably did not go down well with Tim Fisher and Mark Venus and probably was one of the numerous reasons that the former Leyton Orient, Cardiff City and Charlton manager was dismissed on Sunday afternoon, although his coming over to thank the City support after the 0-0 draw at Shrewsbury Town has led many to believe that Slade knew that it was his last game in charge.
Mick Quinn, who played top flight football for the Sky Blues and is now a radio presenter, tweeted: "Sisu or whoever runs the club are making Coventry City a laughing stock and an Embarrassment of a club for the fans that support them."
Darren Huckerby, another hero to many a Coventry City supporter, echoed the comments of Froggatt and Quinn and tweeted: "We all know Slade isn't the real problem at Coventry City
"The people at the top are to blame for this mismanagement for years!"
