Former Coventry City and Newcastle United striker Micky Quinn has been talking about the League Cup 2nd Round game between the Sky Blues and the Geordies tomorrow night at the Arena.
Speaking to City's programme, Quinn said: "If Newcastle play a weakened team I think Coventry will take advantage I really do but if they play their best team it will be tough for City. It won't be the end of the world for Coventry if they do lose because they can get on with the Championship and getting out of that division
"It's a big game for Coventry City and it will be nice to see the stadium full or close to full but Newcastle started this season very well against Manchester United and if they carry that form into this game and don't play a weakened side, it's going to be a very tough game for City.
"Coventry did well against Premier League opposition in both the cups last year. They can beat bigger clubs and with the same desire they could cause a shock."
