Coventry City goalkeeper Michael Quirke received the praise of his manager after playing his part in City's 1-1 draw at Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday night.
Coventry born Quirke got a good reception from the City supporters on the final whistle and speaking to the Press Association, Aidy Boothroyd said; "I was really pleased with his all-round performance and only disappointed for him that he didn't keep the clean sheet he deserved.
"He's our third choice but you have to give young talent a chance. He's a very good shot-stopper and I'd be happy to go with him rather than bring someone in on loan if the injuries don't clear up."
