Coventry City's academy goal keeper Michael Quirke has signed a one year professional deal with the Sky Blues, starting on June 28th 2010.
The 18 year old academy graduate has been a regular for Gregor Rioch's youth team during the 2009/10 season, but has yet to play for the first team.
Coventry born Quirke has had one outing with the first team, as substitute goal keeper to Dimi Konstantopolous during the League Cup first round defeat to Hartlepool last season.
Michael Quirke was the winner of the Covsupport News Service Coventry City U18's Player Of The Season.
Quirke beat Nathan Cameron, Jordan Clarke and Callum Wilson to the award, paid for by Kev Monks and voted by those City supporters who attend U18 matches on a regular basis.
The City supporting keeper received the trophy at the end of the Under 18's game at Leicester City.
