Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has informed most of the twelve players who are out of contract whether or not they are in his plans next season.
The City boss, who is having to cut his playing squad under plans by Ray Ranson to reduce the overall club monthly wage bill of £1m, said to the CT: "I have spoken to nearly all the out of contract players but I won't say who they are because it is fresh in their minds and it is a difficult time for them.
"It is not just the players who are not getting new contracts at the end of the season and there are quite of a few of them. There are people at the Arena who don't know their future either and it's hard."
Those coming to the end of their contracts are Andy Marshall, Danny Ireland, Stuart Giddings,Marcus Hall,Colin Hawkins,Stephen Hughes, Liam Davis, Lee Hildreth, Donovan Simmonds, Arjan De Zeeuw, Ellery Cairo and Michael Hughes.
