Coventry City chairman Ray Ranson has told the Coventry Telegraph that the club has not much money to spend on strengthening the squad when the January transfer window opens, but he will support his manager Aidy Boothroyd in his quest for promotion.
Ranson has been the club chairman for three years now and in an interview with The Coventry Telegraph to mark the anniversary, Ranson said the club, although short of funds, will not shy away from attempting to bring in Premier League quality players to boost the team's push for a promotion or play off place.
In the interview with the CT, Mr Ranson has spoken about his opinion on his manager and how he thinks he is doing. He speaks about the club's finances and the option it has on buying all or a share of The Ricoh Arena.
Mr Ranson also reveals the latest news about some of his players including Keiren Westwood and Aron Gunnarsson.
