If the Reading Chronicle is to be believed, then Reading have had a bid of £1.5m accepted for Coventry City striker Marc McNulty.
The Scot scored 28 goals last season to help the Sky Blues get promoted from League Two and has been courting interest from the Championship club who appear in need of a striker.
Reading are already reported to have put in three bids with City manager Mark Robins saying that the right numbers have to be reached before the Edinburgh born player goes anywhere.
Portsmouth's Conor Chaplin has been cited as a possible replacement with reports claiming that Michael Doyle has recommended him to Mark Robins.
