Reading are through to the Championship Play-Off Final at Wembley on May 30th after winning 3-0 at Cardiff City tonight in the second leg of the Play-Off Semi-Finals.
Reading took the lead in the 27th minute when former Coventry City loanee Stephen Bywater's kick went as far as Shane Long who lobbed the ball into the empty net.
Just before the interval, Reading, who fielded former Sky Blue Jay Tabb as a late substitute, doubled their tally when the Royals were awarded a penalty by referee Howard Webb when Keinan pulled the shirt of another former City loanee Matty Mills and Long duly beat Bywater to put Brian McDermott's side 2-0 up.
Jobi McAnuff scored a third for Reading in the 83rd minute as the Royals, probably to the delight of Wembley Stadium officials who were understood to be concerned about the prospect of the Cardiff V Swansea final, booked their place in the Championship Play-Off Final against Swansea City.
