Arlesey Town player manager Zema Abbey admitted to being proud of his players in their 3-0 FA Cup First Round defeat to Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena.
Speaking to John Arnfield of The People, Abbey, who was a late substitute, said: "i am really proud of our players. All week we geared up for the bigget game in the club's history.
"At the final whistle, I don't think there was anything more the players could have given.
"All credit to the lads and the club coming to a place like this where no-one gave us a chance. We gave a good account of ourselves and on another day it might have been different.
"Three-nil was harsh. We showed bravery and were not overawed and can go away with our heads held high - it was not like a game with four divisions between the teams."
