Coventry City loanee Callum Reilly has said that he is desperate for the Sky Blues to stay in League One.
Reilly, who was amongst those who had a fine game in the win over Wycombe on Tuesday night, told Billie Marshall: “I’m enjoying playing games, and being involved in nights like Tuesday. It has been a struggle in the league but we’re looking at Tuesday as a turning point.
“It was more getting a win under our belts, and showing the fans what we’re capable of. It is a young team, second-half we had to man-up under the pressure. It was a good game all round, we learned a lot about ourselves.
“It was a good turnout and the atmosphere was brilliant. They seemed to enjoy themselves and we managed to put on a show for them.
“I’m a local lad, I know a lot about Coventry City and I’m desperate for the club to survive. I want to see the club do well. I’m in a rhythm now, fitness and sharpness are returning.”
