Coventry City manager Iain Dowie's plans for a behind closed doors friendly this afternoon are rumoured to have been changed.

With no reserve game this week,Dowie was looking for some match practice for players such as Leon McKenzie, Julian Gray and Elliott Ward before the trip to Norwich on Saturday,

However, it is rumoured that Dowie's plans to play a match at Birmingham City were changed when the Blues cancelled following the departure of their manager Steve Bruce.

City Reserves are next in action on Monday when they face West Brom at home.
